Habitat ReStores divert hundreds of tons from landfills each year, accepting hard-to-dispose-of items including new and used furniture, appliances and surplus building materials.
In many cases, pickup service is provided for large items. Please reference the menu below for details. Donations are subject to staff approval.
Donations are now accepted during all business hours at both stores. We prefer to receive larger donations prior to 4 pm, if possible.
Fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, range hood, oven, stove and AC units. Small appliances: Coffee maker, blender/mixer, toaster, water purifier, etc.
Kitchen, bath, laundry, built in storage in good condition with drawers, shelves and front doors.
Good resellable condition with no cracks, dents or alterations. No flat hollow-core unframed doors or bi-folds.
All varieties of metal fasteners and hardware, door knobs, hinges, cabinet pulls and knobs.
Carpet new and never installed, laminate new rolls and unopened boxes, rugs etc.
Quality upholstered furniture less than 5 years only, free of markings and wear. Solid wood and select assembly furniture. Vintage and unique merchandise is welcome!
Ducting, flashing, insulation and vents, fireplace inserts, furnaces and wood stoves. Nothing containing asbestos or toxins.
Bricks, pavers, fencing, hoses, sprinklers. Tools and lawn equipment in good working order.
Indoor and outdoor light fixtures. New light-bulbs. Electrical supplies. No fluorescent fixtures or bulbs.
Denailed quality lumber and siding in 5 foot lengths or more. Sheet goods, 1/2 sheet or more. No Lumber less than 5 ft or sheet goods less than 1/2 sheet. Lumber with fasteners or rot. Used vinyl siding.
Liquid latex paint in original container with original label attached. No Dry or solid paints. Paint not stored in original container.
Steel, white porcelain or cast iron sinks without cracks, chips or stains. New low flow (1.6gpf) toilets. Bathroom fixtures and hardware. Metal bathtubs. New fiberglass tubs. No composite sinks, drop-in porcelain bathroom sinks, non-low-flow toilets, used fiberglass bathtubs
Roofing, shingles, adhesives and tar paper.
New, never installed tile, at least 10 matching square feet. New unopened grout. No Previously installed tile. Opened packages of grout.
Hand and power tools with all parts.
Vinyl or wood windows, undamaged, unfogged and in working order. Shutters in good condition. Blinds, new and in unopened boxes. No Unframed glass or mirrors, aluminum framed windows. Used blinds
We will gladly consider any donation we can sell to raise funds for Habitat. Our ReStores have sold farm equipment, cars, trailers, motor homes, boats and sporting equipment.
